Robin Hood foundation is the largest philanthropic organization in NYC. Funded by many of the wealthiest leaders in the investment world.

[no relation to the Robinhood trading platform]

Every year they host one of the biggest parties this city sees to raise money to fund thousands of programs that benefit underprivileged communities around the city.

This year they managed to raise $68.6 Million in a single night. Every dollar raised goes directly to benefiting the many worthy causes that Robin Hood supports. The generous board underwrites the entire event.

This event is always a colossal undertaking involving a dining area with 20 HD projectors building a full 360-screen surround. A combined raster of nearly 40k wide pixels. It's big. And that doesn't even include the cocktails and performance area.

This year the night included performances by Mumford & Sons, Nate Bargatze, and Post Malone. It's a massive production and I'm always proud to be a part of it.

Separate pop-up shops in Manhattan and Los Angeles. Both involved temporary shopping locations custom built for each of these events. LED screens on the exteriors allowed graphics to transform the structures to resemble actual shoebox designs. The Air Max Day shop in LA stepped through every Air Max box design used by Nike since first released in 1987.

This tour had a complex stage setup including moving periaktos structures with LED screens on one side. As well as 2 extremely large movable LED screens. Surfaces and structures were constantly in motion reflecting the energy of the performance.

I worked closely with Linda Strawberry to help bring her vision to life. Some songs involved unique animated content. Others called for compelling still frames to act as a set backdrop. I also aided in onsite integration of other creator'’ content as needed. I animated a show intro hype video using illustrated assets by Katelan Foisy.

Throughout the This House Is Not For Sale tours, the stage design took many forms. Early tours involved projected graphics onto a kabuki screen which dropped dramatically. Later in the show 5 retractable roll drops were the projection surface that carried the graphic content.

In 2019 Jon toured with one of the largest LED screens ever built. It spanned the entire the stage. Nearly 400 ft long. We created unique content for more than 40 songs, as the performance setlist was reconfigured nightly based on Jon’s needs.

Several songs involved live IMAG integrated and color treated within animated graphic content.

A full medley of Lady Gaga hits had to be represented stylistically using very innovative proprietary LED-glowing torches handheld by a crowd of choreographed dancers.

This involved intensive solutions to keep the graphics mapped correctly as the individual pixel torches were carried to multiple different field formations by the dancers. As well as working in tandem with lighting & pyro-technics.

Annual Gala fundraiser event. Stage screen content created for a unique 5-piece screen setup joined by a beautiful dining experience. Notable guests brought on stage include Jennifer Garner, Tommy Hilfiger, and Zendaya. Screen content made use of the vast photo library of actual benefactors of Save The Children's work. Making use of STC standard branding, but giving it an extra flare of animated shimmering gold detail to celebrate the centennial anniversary.
With a musical Performance by Little Big Town.

The Interactive Advertising Bureau empowers the media and marketing industries to thrive in the digital economy. IAB produces and hosts many events throughout each year, both in person and virtual. This year, because of COVID restrictions, this event was only given virtually.

This required a graphic package for live streamed virtual event. I Design and implement branded graphics, and delivered files organized to be cued live for this streaming event.

This House Is Not For Sale tours high energy intro video sets the mood for Jon and the band to take stage and rock the crowd. It takes the crowd on a energetic journey starting as stripes plunging to earth. Then takes a high-octane path through the unique streets surrounding each night's venue passing local landmarks as we go. When fans saw their own city's skyline, the cheers and excitement always exploded. Over 100 shows across the US, South America, Japan, Australia, and Europe, each received an individual local video.

This was a daunting task to create an edited sequence and recipe that could be rebuilt repeatedly with local imagery gathered from various stock photo sites. As well as sourcing that much individual stock photos and footage to represent each local.

This event is always a colossal undertaking involving a dining area with 20 HD projectors building a full 360-screen surround. A combined raster of nearly 40k wide pixels. It's big. And that doesn't even include the cocktails and performance area.

This year the night included performances by Brandi Carlile, Jim Gaffigan, and Kendrick Lamar, and appearances by John Cena, Gayle King, and Justin Tuck. It's a massive production and I'm always proud to be a part of it.

This year made use of themes from multiple scales. We used windows to get a feel for people's everyday lives. Then with a performance by Charlie Puth the screens transitioned to show a NYC cityscape surrounding the dining area in the round. The abstract cityscape shimmered with activity as skyscrapers’ windows lit up and dimmed. Then as the night progressed, the setting moved beyond the stratosphere looking down on the earth as Mark Bezos took the stage and auctioned off a trip on board Blue Origin with proceeds benefiting the Robin Hood Foundation's amazing programs.

This year’s cocktails experience involved graphics on many LED surfaces designed to evoke the historic signage of broadway. Emulating flickering neon, pulsing tungsten bulbs, and marquee signs to deliver messaging.

During the evening’s dance number/transition into the dining room, all LED signs animated and pulsed to the beat complementing the choreographed dancers in the room.

This event is held annually in Manhattan. Many of the biggest names in Wall St. and Finance speak and attend regularly to learn exclusive information about the current state of the financial world.

For multiple years Andrew has designed and implemented screen content including Speaker Titles with a variety of logistical info per each title screen. As well as messaging throughout the conference and sponsor info.

Logistics for content on this event are deceptively simple. Keeping names, titles, and all info correct is absolutely necessary as all speakers and guests rightfully qualify as VIP.
